iPhone App of the Day : PictureShow

A lot of iPhone owners swear by Hipstamatic or Instagram as their go-to photography app.  Me?  I choose PictureShow - for me, this is by far, the best app out there (and "for a limited time" it's available for only 99 cents)

What makes this app so awesome?

1. Not only can you use this app "live" (as in, taking a photo with the app), but one of the more unique aspects - you can post-process your photos using PictureShow.  This is a big advantage, because a lot of time, the photo apps are a little slow... but with this app, you can take the photo using your regular camera, and post-process in PictureShow.

2. Serious customization.  You can choose from 45 different filters, various lenses, and frames... And then there are further options like light leak, noise, and vignettes.  And if that's not enough, you can even tilt-shift or HDR your photos!

3. Sharing.  Unlike Instagram, which (as far as I could tell from the last time I used that app) centres around the actual Instagram website and doesn't link to an archive of your photos - PictureShow allows you to upload directly to facebook, twitter, flickr, tumbler, blogger, your email, or just save it in your camera roll so that you can batch upload it next time you sync your phone.  You can also choose the resolution of your photos: 600, 800, 1200, 1600 or original.
